We honor and support our elders and families by offering culturally Asian healthcare services. True to giving back. True to paying it forward. Their money.

Kin On was born out of a deep need and the generous support the Asian community. We were one of the first Asian language nursing homes in America and have become the inspiration for many since our inception in 1985. At Kin On, we see every day the importance of planning ahead for long-term care.

WA Cares is Washington State’s public long-term care insurance program funded through payroll contributions. Eligible workers who meet the required contribution and care criteria may qualify for a lifetime benefit of up to $36,500 (adjusted for inflation) to help cover long-term care services.

We encourage members of our community to stay informed and explore how WA Cares may support their long-term care planning needs.

👨‍👧‍👦 Happy Father's Day from Kin On! To all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures in our community — thank you. After years of hard work and quiet sacrifice for your families, you deserve to be cared for with the same love you gave.

Today, we're honored to care for the ones who cared for us. 💞

☕️ Kin On Cross-Cultural Community Café | 👨‍🍼 Fathers & Heritage

My dad taught me how to say "I love you" without ever actually saying it, and how to fix almost anything with what's already in the garage.

What did yours teach you?

This Father's Day weekend, we're gathering for coffee, music, and stories about the people who raised us — whatever that looked like for you. Bring your dad, bring your kids, bring a friend who needs good coffee and better company.

🎶 Music across cultures
🖼️ Art + storytelling
☕ Free, genuinely good coffee — multiple varieties, prepared by our volunteers

Happy Dragon Boat Festival! 🐲

Celebrated in China and many Asian communities worldwide, the Dragon Boat Festival honors Qu Yuan, an ancient Chinese poet and patriot who drowned himself in protest of government corruption. People raced boats to retrieve his body and threw rice dumplings (zongzi) into the river to protect him from fish.

The festival lives on through dragon boat races and zongzi — and at Kin On, we're treating our staff to zongzi this year! 😋

Our Healthy Living Program volunteers came together for a summer picnic last Saturday to enjoy games and a potluck! 🌞

These are the amazing Instructors behind our line dance, yoga, health talks, nutrition classes, tech programs, and more offered in our community centers — plus the helpers who jump in wherever needed. They share their talents to keep our Asian senior community active and healthy! Thank you for all you do! 🙏
