🎷🎷Enrollment for the 2025 Seattle Saxophone Institute summer music camps is now open! We have 2 weeks of innovative programming planned for middle and high school saxophonists. Faculty members including Katyrose Jordan, Evan Smith, Alexis Rosenberg and Neil Welch, plus daily guest artists, a professional rhythm section and a final concert. Students will explore jazz, classical, modern improvisation, conduction, brass band music and much more, plus faculty workshops and presentations. Each year we create custom arrangements/transcriptions, seek out exceptional rep, and commission new works.

Did you know that Marie is Straubinger Pad Certified? In December, she spent 3 days gaining knowledge and specialty training at their shop In Indianapolis. She is able to install and service flutes with these unique, highly stable pads. Plus, she had a wonderful time connecting with colleagues from across the country.

Happy 7th Birthday SSR! Never did I imagine I would have to weather a pandemic while being a business owner, but here I am riding this wave with you all. Thank you to the musicians and community for your kindness and support. A special thanks to Jansen, Evan, and Allison for being a part of Team SSR! I'm sad, I couldn't force everyone outside to take an awkward 'family' photo, since we are all sheltered-in-place.

Many of you have reached out with support and we truly appreciate it. It is a time of uncertainty, but we all need to hunker down, wash our hands, and shelter in place.
