We’re still here!

Although our business has been sidelined as Ande navigates recovery (see previous posts-p.s.,she’s healing really well but still needs more time and a second surgery as a final step in the process-more info on our return later )…

this Spring we had the opportunity to sponsor a softball team! We sponsored the OUTfielders of and I also got to play/coach a brand new team in the league called Aces of Bases. This league is truly a Unicorn in that started many years ago for women and has grown as one of the largest recreational women’s leagues in the country AND is inclusive of all trans/non-binary q***r identifying folks as well.

It was exactly what I needed during this break and both Ande and I have already made many new friends. It feels great to be part of a welcoming and genuinely tight knit community that mirrors the exact values Sunny Up stands for. Happy Pride, Seattle!
