Did you know? Ethiopia has about 95 million people, 44% of them less than 14 years of age? Ethiopia is one of the least urbanized countries in the World, with 84% of the population living in the rular areas.

Did you know, how much progress has been made in providing access to Education in these rural areas for all these young pupils?

Did you know, there are about 34,000 primary and secondary schools in Ethiopia? In the rural areas, there is a primary school within less than 3 Kilometers. That is 27,000,000 students in school.

But of course, you know there are many challenges with Quality of Education, capacity of teachers. But I wonder if you know, Camara Education Ethiopia has been working these rurar schools by providing them an eLearning Center containing 20-30 Computers with full of Educational contents?

But you say, what about the schools with no electricity? Read my post from Bahir Dar tomorrow evening, as I am heading there to observe an installation of a Solar Powered eLearning Center in a remote school about 300 KM from Bahir Dar.
