Every night in King County, more than 1,500 young people are uncertain where they'll be able to sleep. As many housing resources and organizations have turned their attention to other homeless populations, young people on the streets have found fewer and fewer resources available to address their specific needs. The causes of homelessness among Seattle’s young adults are multifaceted. Forty percen

We are thrilled to share that we have been granted a generous recognition from the Starbucks Foundation for the work we do in our neighborhood. We can't wait to continue to the work we do every day to end homelessness, one young person at a time.

So far this year, 263 young people have accessed our services! Whether it is for a warm bed, case management, a hot meal, or a safe place to hang out for the day, New Horizons exists as a touchstone to meet young people wherever they are.
Introducing our one-year Roadmap! Our Executive Director, Tiffany Washington, is here to share about the direction we're moving in and how we are going to get there via 3 strategic priorities. 🗺️

Grace Church Seattle is hosting the Good Neighbor Speaker Series, which is open to the entire community. This is a community-focused event series featuring conversations with experts and frontline practitioners about the challenges vulnerable people face in Seattle. The goal is to inspire deeper understanding, compassion, and a shared commitment to advocacy and service.
On Tuesday May 12th, our Executive Director, Tiffany Washington, will be speaking on young adult homelessness as a part of the series. Tiffany will address questions such as, “What does young adult homelessness really look like for young adults and how often do we miss it?” She wants to see you there!
This event is for everyone—whether they are new to the conversation or already deeply connected to it, this is an opportunity to listen, learn and be a part of something meaningful. Bring someone else to join in on the conversation and share your passion for vulnerable populations.
Buy tickets at the link in our bio! See you there!

Last week, our wonderful volunteers got together with staff at Tutta Bella in Wallingford to celebrate all of their hard work from the past year! The work we do is simply not possible without the many people who show up to serve meals, deliver meals, donate clothing, keep our space clean, support on the floor, provide tech support (), and any number of other things that allow our work to continue. We are so thankful for all of you and for a rockstar Volunteer & Kitchen Manager Rodney who makes volunteering so fun. 🥳
