Fall Line (2003-2023) was an acclaimed Seattle-based artisanal producer of classically-styled wines, crafted with fruit from thoughtfully selected vineyards in Washington state.

FYI, the Fall Line website is going the way of winery by the end of this month. However, if you ever desire any information contained in the site (namely, about the wines, vineyards, principles or principals), Tim is retaining a complete archive of the website pages.

Dang that was yummy! Sublime, even.
The color, structure, and depth of this wine belie the vintage - at least according to pundits at the time (to wit, contrast with all the praise heaped on 2012). From the get-go, 2011 was and is, hands-down, my favorite of all the vintages I worked during my tenure as a winemaker. For me, the 2011 Tempranillo (aka El Otro), along with the other 2011s, stand among the best wines I had the privilege of making. Wish there were more. (That's the last sip, literally, on the right.)

Adiós to the last of a uniquely special Fall Line 1.0 wine, 2009 El Otro (100% Tempranillo, Boushey Vineyard).

Please pardon the immodesty: Our wines have given us immense pleasure and joy over the years. Today, this is it for our personal stash, and it is not much longer for this world.😢
(Just last June, 2023, our personal cellar was stuffed with Fall Line and other, mostly Nebbiolo, goodies. Sheesh. See individual photos for details of what remains as of 2/24/24.)

This may be an odd post, but the venue makes sense (to me, anyway).
I (Tim) am moving into a small studio soon, and several items will not be going with me, this tapestry among them. This is a handmade needle-point tapestry crafted by my mother-in-law when Fall Line was just getting going. It was around two months in the making, and there may be as many as a quarter-million stitches. (We're not sure about the count, but there are many, many thousands at least.)
Please reach out to me by email or phone if you are interested. I am not looking to sell it; I am only seeking a nice, loving home for it.
