The opulent ‘90s primary bathroom is gone at our Queen Anne Tudor, and something more appropriate is on the way. We have passed plumbing inspection, so the new shower will be framed now (it will include the crown glass window, which used to float with no context as a remnant from the original life of this house).

It’s meant to look easy (and maybe even feel inevitable?), but the amount of labor required to dream, plan, and execute beautiful work should not be underestimated. Placing twelve individual pendants over an eleven-foot custom table required a lot of collaboration and problem solving, but when the outcome is this lovely, it’s all worth it. Thank you .studio.designs and for bringing your time and talents to our Cozy Cove contemporary project.

Tile layout meeting at Garden House. It’s so valuable to have time with the installer at this critical juncture in order to clarify intention, review critical layouts, and then go back with the builder and adjust framing and rough-in in order to get perfect alignment. We love construction administration in our office, and can’t wait to see finishes get installed at this project in the spring.

I love these candle holders by - they’re so simple with beautiful proportions. Currently available to see at (also worth a visit!).

We are back at to address a small list of updates, and I had to snap this photo of the living room because the house still looks as good as the day of the photo shoot (and our client takes such good care of this home). It’s a very good feeling!

Spoons by .becker - the singleton I own was one of my favorite holiday gifts (that I conveniently bought for myself).
