Have you been to Terwilliger Hot Springs (aka Cougar)? The first shot here is a two stall we installed there years ago. I dropped in this fall for a dip and it looked brand new. **** Have you heard about the EPA ban on pit toilets? The EPA required closure of all large cesspools (aka pit toilets used >20 times per day) in 2005 in order to reduce ground water pollution! The .s.forestservice replaced pit toilets around LA with our prefab decompose toilet system. Feedback has been great and no vandalism has been reported (previously it was a huge problem). How many public pit toilets do you think there are in the USA?

What do you think of our new ADA toilet building? Due to manufacturing delays plaguing the world, Tavish developed a design using 8020 aluminum because of its abundance and many prefab parts. Aluminum channels are bolted to the 8020 rail and fiberglass boards are slid into place. We chose the strongest and non corroding, non molding, zero maintenance parts we could find in the USA. These toilets are being manufactured for the Mount Hood .s.forestservice who have been super great to work with. We are also supplying toilets for but parts of those are delayed, stuck in containers in Canada. We love to work for these public land managers helping to improve human waste management. Yah

How's this for a bathroom selfie? During the annual service at Longs peak toilets over 4th of July weekend. Thanks to Britta for carrying gear when I got a little spacy with the altitude and the great photos. Rocky has both types of Toilet Tech toilets: Decompose at it's forested sites and Waste Away units on Longs where waste goes into small bags for llamas to pack out. Some of the forested sites like Fern Lake don't even have pits and waste decomposes on the soil surface, managed just like deer and squirrel poo (contained in 5 sided box of course).

Check out this construction sequence at Terwilliger Hot Springs Oregon. This is such a beautiful site with an awesome .s.forestservice crew. Springs open in July!
