Thank you to the Husky Culinary Club for hosting a collab cooking demo! We learned how to make a Vietnamese chopped salad and focaccia using our Project IF lettuce, cilantro, cayenne, and bell pepper!

Here is an updated spring quarter maintenance schedule! We are excited to welcome our new lettuceheads! This schedule will be in effect until our harvest week (May 25-29). See you on the farm!

Project IF is excited to announce our intent to vend at the Spring Maker’s Fair from 11am-3pm on Tuesday, May 5th! All proceeds will go towards our club’s sustainable farming, research, and education initiatives. We will be selling pins, stickers, charms, and earrings. Please stop by and bring a friend! We hope to see you on Tuesday!

Want to connect with other students in environmental RSOs this Earth Day? Join EPSA, Dirty Dozen, Project Indoor Farm, SEHA, and BeautifyUdub in their collaborative events this Earth Day! These events are open to all students who want to learn more about sustainability work on campus, regardless of if you are a part of one of these clubs or not!

First, join Project Indoor Farm to get a hydroponic farm tour in Condon Hall Rm 147. Be sure to bring your own small container of you would like to plant microgreens (seeds provided)!

Next, join BeautifyUdub on one of their weekly trash pickups to clean up our campus. The pickup will start outside of Spratlen Hall, and groups of students will disperse across campus to try and pick up as much trash as possible!

Lastly, end Earth Day with a fun outdoor social event at the UW Farm’s Center for Urban Horticulture. We will gather around the Cultural Kitchen to play games, craft, chat, and eat some snacks!
