March 7th: violin day. Practicing the Mozart K456 quartet so I can lead our exploring chamber music zoom class.
Okay okay, I know. March 5th.
"But Kerry ! What happened to March 3rd and 4th?!"
Bad mental health days and lots of sleeping. It happens sometimes, and I just try my best to roll with it. You'll have to take my word for it that I played a lot of Suzuki songs with my students yesterday.
Viola day today, working on trying to maintain tone on Phantasy by York Bowen. So excited to play this some day, love the low violay intro. 😌 So good.
March 2nd, Violin day.
I'm trying to get better with my intonation on violin after playing viola for an extended period of time. Viola always snaps back in pretty quickly, violin is always more finicky...

Our Suzuki Violin Group classes at have a composer of the month project that they research facts for about a specific composer. We take the facts they learn and make a little video about the composer!
