Her work centers on helping people return to a sense of ease.

We miss her dearly, if you’ve met Nicole, you will recognize the steadiness she brings.

She has graciously offered 10% off through June 21 for members of The Current.

If this feels like something you’ve been considering, you’re invited!

Mindfulness can help us to find space to pause and notice the moments of joy, insight, and connection that arise naturally in our lives.

It’s the soft glow that appears when we’re truly present—when we’re learning something new, resting in shared silence, or seeing the world through a fresh perspective.

Nourishing community is at the heart of this practice. Every season, our book club becomes a living expression of this mindfulness training: a gathering where we explore ideas with openness, listen deeply to one another, and create space for collective understanding.

Together, we cultivate warmth, belonging, and shared presence—small but meaningful moments that sustain us long after we part.

As we close our 12 Days of Mindfulness, we invite you to celebrate the joy that naturally unfolds when we learn, grow, and nourish community together.

Breathwork is one of the most powerful tools we teach in our mindfulness curriculum.

Learning to guide the breath helps students calm their nervous systems, steady their emotions, and create space between a feeling and a reaction. It’s a skill they can use anywhere, in the classroom, on the playground, or during moments of stress at home.

Today, you can swipe to watch Elijah, one of our students, teaching square breathing, a reminder that even young people can become teachers of peace, grounding, and self-awareness.

Instead of traditional meditation, our classroom practice centers on anchoring, helping students find a steady point they can return to when their minds or emotions start to drift. An anchor might be the breath, the feeling of their feet on the floor, a sound in the room, or a sensation in the body.

Anchoring teaches students to notice what’s here with kindness: the breath rising and falling, emotions shifting, thoughts coming and going. It’s a simple but powerful skill they can use anywhere, before a test, during a tough moment with a friend, or when they need a pause from big feelings.

Just a few grounded breaths can create space, clarity, and calm.

Mindfulness grows from these small moments of returning. Anchoring is how we begin.

A core part of mindfulness is learning to let go, to release tension, worry, or the emotions we’ve been holding too tightly. Letting-go doesn’t mean ignoring our feelings; it means acknowledging them, giving them space, and allowing them to move through us with compassion.

Today, we’re honored to share a beautiful example of this practice in action:
“Let It Out” — a student-led breathing practice guided by Alahn, a 4th grader.
With simple breaths and gentle cues, Alahn reminds us how powerful it can be to pause, reset, and let go of what we no longer need to carry.
