We started our Monday off with a recording session with longtime friend and producer Laura Jean Cronin and her apprentice Azrael from Remove the Gap Productions. Furry friend Baltic even struck a pose.

I've been coming to Northwest Folklife since I was a little kid. So, it always has been near and dear to me. What has been great for me getting to livestream the festival with RG Pro / Northwest Film Forum with The Elite Collective the last few years, is a reason to be here all four days!! And to watch how much joy this festival brings to the people who attend. I love watching all the families that come with their picnic blanket and basket, the kids rolling around on the grass, the couples, young and old enjoying each other's company. It's not just the music, it's everything about the festival. It really lifts the spirits! If you weren't able to come down, I hope you were able to catch a little piece of the festival on the livestream!
