Our Handshake Workshop is coming up, and we’re seeking volunteers!

Whether you’ve joined us before, currently host a Student Associate as a Corporate Work Study Partner, or are considering becoming a supervisor in the future, we’d love to have you with us on July 24 for our Handshake Workshop at Seattle University.

This session is a chance to connect around what makes the Cristo Rey Corporate Work Study experience so powerful: meaningful relationships and practical skill-building. It’s a fun way to help our students build their confidence as they prepare for their first professional jobs in the fall.

Join us in welcoming Ms. Lauren Lindblad to the Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle team!

Ms. Lindblad joins us as a Corporate Work Study Coordinator, bringing a strong background in communications and a deep appreciation for the impact of Catholic education. A proud WSU Pullman grad and Bishop Blanchet High School alum, Ms. Lindblad was inspired by schools rooted in service, justice, and community and looks forward to continuing to foster these values here at CRJS.

She’s passionate about supporting students as they grow not just academically, but as people committed to making a difference in the world. She knows firsthand how meaningful it is to have supporters who invest in your journey, and she’s ready to pay that forward.

When she’s not on campus, you might find her on the tennis court, skiing, swimming in Lake Washington, or spending time with her dog Frankie. Most often, though, she’s spending time with her big, lively family.

Ms. Silva, Alison S. ’28, and Mia G‑ E. '28 are headed to Marquette University in Milwaukee to represent our school at the Cristo Rey Network's Student Union for Mission Alignment conference.

Through collaboration, reflection, and leadership development, they’ll join peers from Cristo Rey schools across the country to elevate student voices and bring new ideas back to our community.

We’re so proud of them as they step into this exciting leadership experience!

Rooted in reflection, retreat, and spiritual growth, the Ignatian Spirituality Center (ISC) creates space for people to pause and reconnect with what matters most. As a Jesuit school rooted in the tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola, we value this shared foundation in Ignatian spirituality.

As we celebrate the last day of work for the 2025-26 school year, we’re sending a big THANK YOU to our Jesuit Volunteer, Ms. Anna Grillo, as she wraps up her final day driving students to work! 💐

As a Jesuit Volunteer with Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, Ms. Grillo has shown up each day with care, dedication, and a deep commitment to our students, making sure they get to work safely and feel supported along the way.

Ms. Grillo truly exemplifies our Grad at Grad values, living each day as a person open to growth, committed to doing justice, loving, and showing our students what it looks like to be career ready and pursue excellence in the workplace.

Ms. Grillo, thank you for the countless early mornings, the steady support, and the heart you’ve brought to Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle. No matter where your path leads next, you’ll always be part of our Wolf Pack 💙💛🐺

Through our Corporate Work Study Program, our Student Associates made a big impact:
⭐ Logging 27,040 hours of work
⭐ Achieving 1,707 high timecards
⭐ Earning $1,092,750 towards their CRJS education
