cory, you were here day one. still remember that house show joji and i played when you turned to us and said “so when are we gonna start a band?” we had all taken time away from music and were just hungry for something creative, collaborative, and built on friendship.
you helped bring us back to music and back to our purpose, which has become such a core part of the meaning behind this album “back to us.”
you’ve been with us through so many milestones, from the release of our first ep to now this album, both in the band and in our lives outside of it. we’ve truly been honored to do all of this alongside you.
more than anything, we’re grateful for the friendship we’ve built through it all.
you’re an amazing bassist and musician and you’ll be deeply missed in this lineup, but we’re excited for you to focus on what’s next for you. ❤️
as we move into this next chapter of heavy bloom, we’re looking forward to continuing to grow the live band and welcome new energy while carrying everything we’ve built forward.
