For many, this past year has been a complete roller coaster. For myself, I never imagined driving across the country to start this business and facing the countless obstacles that came my way. This video reel is a testament that if you face hard times with persistence, grit, tenacity, and a little visions anything can be accomplished. Imagine being 14, and you’re out on your own. The streets. No one is there for you, no one can help guide you. That was a reality for the man I’m this video, Chef Shawn Tibbitts. Despite this obstacle, staring down the face of addiction, and coming from a place of absolutely nothing, Shawn was able to create one of the most sought after restaurants in Tacoma, Washington. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of learning a bit more about Shawn’s story while I went with him on one of his farm runs. He later cooked me one of his signature dishes, the lobster bomb. I filmed it. I’m in the editing process now. I will be posting the full video in a week or so on my YouTube channel.
