Veterans have always been a bedrock part of the Chive Charities recipient family. Since 2012 we have provided aid to 152 Veteran recipients - we are continually grateful to be able to give back to those who have given so much for our country.

We are also grateful to partner with incredible Veteran-owned businesses like Grill Your As- Off who give back to the Veteran community not only through their every day sales, but through partnerships with non-profits who also support our Veterans.

It is part of our daily mission to celebrate and lift up our Veterans. But especially today - Veterans Day - we're honored to pause and celebrate their service and sacrifice. To all of our servicemen and women, we thank you.

And while Chivers live this way every day, this week is an annual concentrated opportunity to unite through kindness when needed most.

It all starts with one act – one smile, one coffee for a stranger, one favor for a friend. It’s a chance for you to leave the planet better than you found it and inspire others to do the same.

We are continuing our 10-year anniversary celebrations with none other than, Chive Nation. It is hard to find the words to describe how much this group of misfits means to us. To put it simply, Chive Charities would not exist without Chive Nation. 10 years ago, seemingly out of nowhere, hundreds of self-forming Chive chapters started popping up in more than 200 cities around the globe. Groups in the hundreds were meeting up to raise a glass and party with a purpose. People started wearing Chive shirts in public. Spotting someone wearing a Keep Calm And Chive On Tee in the wild was like a wink and a nod that you had something special in common. Online positivity started to work its way offline. Chivers started performing random acts of kindness (RAK’s) toward each other in the form of beers, large tips, and generally bringing more joy into the world.

You’d think after 10 years of partying with a purpose, these chapters would calm down, but they have continued to Chive On. The Chive Nation chapters have raised $1.3M for Chive Charities, with 17 Bona Fide chapters, and 84 total active chapters. Grateful only begins to express how we feel about Chive Nation. Today we pause to celebrate the sacrifices made by so many servicemen and women to keep our country the land of the free. And, as an organization committed to our Veterans, we remind you that fireworks might be your favorite way to celebrate, but can be triggering to some combat Veterans. For 10 years, Chive Charities has continued its life-changing impact because of you. And over the last week, through your generous support, we’ve raised $458,989 to provide critical aid to Veterans, military families, first responders, and rare medical individuals.
