Custom Made Play Project

The CMPP artistic team met again Saturday night, so that Emily could view the actors in their natural habitat (Rebecca's living room - drinking wine and eating cheese.) This play is going to rock.

I am pleased to announce that the second CMPP artistic team met in full tonight to read the first draft of Emily Conbere's brand new play written specifically for Kelly Kitchens, Betsy Schwartz and Rebecca Olson - here we go!

Remembering my Ballard House Playmates - Just Wrought | Main Almost exactly this time last year we were gearing up to open the world premiere of Ballard House Duet , with Custom Made Play Project and Washington Ensemble Theatre .

It's time for the Gregory Awards! The People's Choice nomination is an opportunity for the community (artists, audiences, etc.) to add people to the ballot that they feel were left off the original list of nominees - so if you saw any theater this year, take a second to submit your vote. The current list of nominees can be found on the gregoryawards.org website. If you are so inclined, feel free to nominate Ballard House Duet and/or the artists involved in the project. That would be delightful. Carry on and tally ho!

She has spent 2012 and 2103 on a photography project that features countless Seattle theater artists, which is culminating in an exhibit at ACT Theatre. Congratulations LaRae and thank you for shining a spotlight on our community!

Celebration! Photography Exhibit “Celebration!” will be a large-scale 6-month exhibit of approximately 200 prints displayed over 3 floors of the historic ACT Theatre in downtown Seattle.

The Custom Made Play Project announces the artist lineup for the second project: Emily Conbere (Playwright), Kelly Kitchens (Actor), Betsy Schwartz (Actor) and Rebecca Olson (Actor, Producer). The second project will begin development in summer 2013.
