April is Autism Awareness Month. But awareness was never the finish line.
Awareness says “I know about autism.” Acceptance says “I’m making room for you.”
Autistic people don’t need the world to simply know they exist. They need communities that welcome them as they are. Spaces that don’t ask them to mask, shrink, or perform “normal” to belong.
This isn’t just advocacy for me. It’s personal. It’s why every design I create comes from a place of love, not just awareness.
This month and every month: acceptance, support, belonging. That’s the work.
I am so excited to introduce the Deaf Bear! This is the second bear of my new EveryBear Sticker Collection.
This bear celebrates Deaf culture, Deaf identity, and a vibrant community with its own rich language, history, and pride.
The ILY handshape is one of the most recognized symbols of connection and belonging in Deaf culture, and it felt like the perfect detail for this bear.
The EveryBear Collection is about representation that matters. Every bear honors a real community and real people who deserve to take up space.

A friend looked at me the other day and said, “People always tell me I’m too much.”
And I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.
Here’s what I told them: You are NOT too much. You are just enough.
You don’t have to shrink yourself to make other people comfortable. You don’t have to perform or polish yourself into someone easier to digest.
The world doesn’t need a quieter, smaller, more “acceptable” version of you.
It needs your presence. Not your perfection.

I know many of us are carrying a lot right now.
Creating doesn’t mean I’m ignoring it.
It means I’m choosing to keep putting care, empathy, and human-centered messages into the world in the small ways I can. 🤍
