Thanks to the GSBA for recognizing the Food is Love Project. This was a year ago but we were remiss in not posting the video. Thanks to everyone who contributed or volunteered. Together we were able to do some real good during a very difficult time.

Hi Food is Love fans! Our restaurants and volunteers are still working hard every week to provide a bridge from the pandemic to "normal life" (whatever that means) for vulnerable families in Seattle. We intend to keep serving through the end of 2021. Can you help us do it? We are now once again taking donations through our fiscal sponsor PrideFest. Give in the link! 100% tax-deductible.

Food is Love Project is ONE YEAR OLD! We’ve served over 30,000 meals, filling a food need for food vulnerable people across Seattle, all the while keeping restaurants cooking. Thanks to our principals: Marina Gray Linda Di Lello Morton Elizabeth Kennedy Chef Tamara Murphy and Egan Orion. And to our dozens of volunteer drivers. You made all this possible every week. To Zoe and Chris at our NE Chapter. To the dozens of mostly BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and women-owned restaurants who helped feed people tasty, filling, nutritious meals for the last year.

More news soon on Food Is Love. But for now let us say simply: thank you for all your donations and other support. Food, as we’ve learned this year, really is love.

Hey Food is Love Supporters! Just wanted to let you know we anticipated the cold and snowstorms coming our way and rallied a group of volunteer drivers to serve our Center City families yesterday with not one, not two, but more than two meals for each person! Thanks to the volunteers who turned it around so quickly to support our families for a weekend when it may be harder to get around but the need never goes away.

Stay safe out there, everybody!
