Dave's Mac Help

At the beginning of 2024 I left Seattle to build a camper van...then some other stuff happened.
I finally got through that, so have gotten back to working on Dave's Mac Help.
One holdup was—for some reason I couldn't create an email address at my host to go with my website. As I have for some projects in the past, I resorted to hiring someone through freelancer.com to help me out.
Many of these workers are, of course, in less developed parts of the world. This is the second time I've hired someone from Bangladesh. In this case, his name was Alok. He was able to complete this task quickly and for a bargain rate. Then I also had him move my site from the free Wix service (with ads), to my host (hostinger.com; [ad free]). Here's what he looks like. :-)

New biz card

I transitioned from Adobe apps to Affinity. They're very similar but also different in ways. Made this tear-off poster with Affinity Photo and Designer.

I'm also a musician and have a guitar lesson site (davesguitarplanet dot com). I haven't added any lessons to it for a couple years, but have posted a few short videos of me playing some musical ideas, like this one. I used my iPhone to take the videos while recording audio into Apple Garageband. Then I combine everything in the Screenflow video editor.

When I lived in Bangkok, Thailand (2006–2021), my business was called Bangkok Mac. I no longer have that website, but you can still see it via the link in the comment below. (I made the site using Adobe Dreamweaver. It's in the older HTML style.)
