It's been awhile since we posted, but wanted all to know we are still active and volunteering! Last Thursday the leadership team was out in force at New Horizons preparing and serving dinner for the youth. We had over over 30 youth enjoy our inside picnic meal of burgers, chips, fruit and cookies. Thanks to the team for hanging in there these last 2 years as it's been a bumpy road. We are hoping we can continue to get out there and serve the youth of Seattle and appreciate all our volunteers and supporters.

Last Thursday the team was back at New Horizons serving dinner to the youth of Seattle. We saw a larger group than in previous dinners, so happy that our team had plenty of chili to go around! Thanks to Chef's Dayna Nordine Sheldon, Sean, Brenda Kuhns and Andrzej for getting it done!

Seattle | OhWhatFund StandUp for Kids-Seattle was launched in 2009 doing street outreach once a week. Over the years we have partnered with local agencies to empower the youth to improve their lives. Last Thursday our crew was back at New Horizons for their evening dinner. Thanks to our volunteers, Dayna, Eric, Brandon, Erin and Samantha for prepping and serving delicious burgers and sides to the youth. Grateful for our partnership with New Horizons that allows us to interact with the youth of Seattle. Last year, we reached thousands of homeless and at-risk young people across the country through street outreach, mentoring, and housing support. This would be something to celebrate in any year, but to accomplish these things in a year like 2020 is truly remarkable. It is also a reflection of the kind of supporters we have –YOU– that continue to believe in and support our empowering work with the most vulnerable youth in our communities.​
