During our consistent visits, we focused on empowering the individuals with disabilities. We provided guidance on utilizing basic cell phones and demonstrated the efficient use of a specially designed kiosk that facilitates independent shopping, a significant step towards enhancing their integration and self-sufficiency within society. In addition to these instructional sessions, we engaged in indoor activities such as gymnastics and interactive games.

Delivering emergency relief supplies
July 2022 / Karen Minority, Myanmar
In the aftermath of the military coup in Myanmar, the Karen ethnic minority bore the brunt of brutal attacks from the Myanmar Air Force, resulting in the devastation of entire villages and a tragic loss of lives.
In an effort to alleviate the suffering of the affected communities, we collaborated with a dedicated local volunteer organization. Together, we initiated a fundraising campaign to procure essential supplies. Through the generosity of our donors, we were able to gather resources to distribute a substantial aid package, including 1,000 kilograms of rice and 162 kilograms of 60-packs of dry rice noodles.
