Let’s have a quick chat about venue coordinators vs. wedding coordinators. This topic comes up quite a bit and while they both have the same titles their job description is quite different. One main thing to remember is that a VENUE coordinator can assist you with issues pertaining to the venue. They’re there to uphold the venues rules, regulations and policies. Now your WEDDING coordinator is there to assist and advocate for YOU and YOUR guest experience. For example, your venue coordinator’s responsibility is to ensure the venue is prepared for your wedding day. Versus your wedding coordinator who prepares your entire team of vendors with the “big picture” in mind. Think “micro level” for venue coordinator and “whole picture” for wedding coordinator.

While they both have different responsibilities both are important for a successful and fun wedding day!
