Welcome to our new space! We got lots of new followers over the weekend so I am saying hi to you all and showing you a peak at our new studio space we are working on in West Seattle. Help us by donating what you can if you are able, the link is in our bio 👆
The bulk of the demo is complete, and now we need to get to work on building it back up. Little by little. We need to hire an electrician to move some switches around and make sure the wiring is all safe. And someone to refining the floors. A plumber to fix a few sinks and a drywaller to fix some ceiling and walls. We are well on our way!
I got invited to attend a Happy Hour event tonight with to check out the amazing materials they have collected from Architecture and Interior Design firms around Seattle for the Zero Landfill Event that is happening tomorrow from 9-4 at the United Tile warehouse in S**o. It is free and open to the public - upcycling in action!!! Definitely go check it out, there is so much cool stuff that can be used like tile, wood, fabric, carpet, glass and so much more. Get creative and make something amazing!!!

After 25 years as an architect and a lifetime of crafting, I started CraftLab Seattle to give people a place to slow down, create and connect.
We’ve kept 6,000+ lbs. of materials out of the landfill. We’ve brought creative experiences to kids, adults, and teams all over the Seattle area. But here’s what we’ve not been able to do - hold classes in our own studio. Our current space is just 640 sq ft. That’s about to change. 🎨
We’re renovating a historic 1946 building in West Seattle - 1500+ sq ft. of space to finally bring our community through our own front door. New floors, new lighting, fresh walls. A real home for CraftLab Seattle.
