5 years ago, White Center rallied around the businesses we lost in the July 2021 fire. The first white center block party was born in support of the 8 businesses affected. We gathered for a day of solidarity and building community. That event sparked the movement that became the White Center Business Alliance. 🎉 this year, we’re bringing back the wristband fundraiser!

This summer, the greatest soccer competition on the globe is coming to the Pacific Northwest. And the best place to watch will be with your community in White Center. White Center Pride is teaming up with to host a world soccer match watch party! Shutting the street down for GIANT screens, vendors, food, and more in downtown White Center. Gather for Goals with us! ⚽

The White Center Food Bank is excited to bring together our neighborhood’s wide variety of restaurants for a family-friendly event and fundraiser. With 30+ restaurants participating, attendees purchase $5 tickets to try a variety of foods like banh mi sandwiches, bubble tea, Indian fry bread tacos, and much more. Iconic restaurants like Sap Sap, Farm Boy Burgers, Young’s and others are ready to serve up amazing bites! Join us for a fun-filled event with food, a kid’s area and music!

This event is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE, so get there early before things sell out!!

One big change this year is there will be one centralized ticket station at the intersection of 16th Ave SW and SW 98th St (by Tim's Tavern and Beer Star). A ‘menu’ will be given to each attendee at the time of ticket purchase, with a map and details on restaurants and items available. This is a first come, first served event, with limited quantities available at each establishment.

White Center Food Bank looks forward to hosting this celebration and sharing the diverse culinary talents of our neighborhood around the one thing that always brings community together: FOOD!

Each ticket is an opportunity to taste a small plate, drink or dessert from participating restaurants. All ticket proceeds support the White Center Food Bank, while sponsorship dollars go to the restaurants to purchase ingredients and pay for event costs.
