We did an exciting shoot with four models for the 2026 Seattle Erotic Art Festival coming May 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. Excited to see what the jury accepts. We submitted 10 photos this year in our signature metal print!

After working with web devs on the first versions of our website and in the process trying Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress over the last few years, I finally found a platform I really like that feels intuitive and is designed for photography. Pixieset!

It let me build this version 3.0 Flame Friends website. I am proud of myself for this site and what Jed and I have created as artists. Still being added to, but I feel ready to share.

Flame Friends Arts & Photo Yes, this is real fire. When handled professionally and carefully, fire can be tamed for a short while to create beautiful art with the human form. Selected as Seattle Erotic Art Festival Visual Artist 2022, 2023, & 2024 People's Choice 2024 Award Winner

Still excited. Found out there were 265 visual works on display at this year’s Seattle Erotic Art Festival. 2,100 votes were counted for the People’s Choice Award and Flame Friends’ submission “It Burns When I Pee” took home the win. We got invited back for next year’s show and they emailed us this lovely award ribbon.

Most of you know about my fire photography work with Jed Vassallo and Flame Friends.

Well I’m excited to share the results from our first corporate client shoot for Rainier Beer!

They were super happy with us and the images we made and are using these in their Wild Rainiers campaign.
