"Out of the Fire Springs Hope"
Mixed media on canvas. I can't wait to hike by swaths of glowing, bright pink fireweed. It just screams summer. It also reminds me not to lose hope even when it feels like everything is on fire.

Started on this cheeky crow last week. It will be a while until I can get back to him, so I thought I'd share some progress shots. The plan is for him to be in a blooming cherry tree but we will see what happens!
