Walkeveryblock Seattle
Walkeveryblockthesequel has begun. I walked every block of Seattle between June 2020 and April 2024.
I've started doing it again...seeing all of your city never gets old. This time I'll focus on neighborhoods...so I'm calling it "WalkAcrossSeattle."

Busy, and back issues kept me off the roads. Back on today! U District!

Walked South Park today. Going to focus on high-immigrant parts of the city for the time being. Did the part in blue.
Walking in South Park in a couple of hours. I'm going to try to focus on immigrant areas. We need to keep our eyes out...we could be another Minnesota at any moment. Message me if you want to join!

The good news is that I have Bee and Paul, old friends who will join me for long city walks. The bad news is that Bee and I spend the whole time yapping and I only get a few pictures. More work on Madison Valley.

Even in the chaos, it's important to see new places. Or in this case, revisit old places...passed a couple of old apartments of mine today.
Today's walk in blue.

Walked the NE corner of the city with Kathy Sellers from the old Governors' School days. Lovely day! I'm realizing my bike muscles aren't the same as my walking muscles.....

After several months of dealing with health setbacks, WalkEveryBlock is getting back on track. Today, 5.2 miles in Bryant. Saw my old friends Pat and Chardie, who joined us for half the walk.

I haven't posted in a long time, but Walk Every Block 2 is slowly coming along. Still just as fun to see all of Seattle, still plenty to explore. I finished a few more neighborhoods...
This week: finished Madrona! Such beautiful old houses, particularly on the lake side of the hill. Everyone's favorite part of this area: Gnome Park, a ravine just east of Madrona Drive at Pine.
