Ten Years Ago: Films In Retrospective

What a difference a decade makes. tenyearsago.wordpress.com

Each week, we revisit a movie on the week of its tenth anniversary and assess the shifting landscape of cinema, politics, and our own lives over the past decade.

Hey all. In May, 10YA hit its 15-year anniversary, a milestone for something I started just because I was bored and wanted to do something fun. It has morphed into something wonderful: a destination for incredible pieces of criticism and analysis, thoughtful trips through personal and shared histories, and a reminder of how many films can slip through the cracks.

I’ve decided to use this as a chance to shift my attention to other responsibilities for the time being. Yeah, it only takes up about an hour of work per week on average, but this site has always been a reminder that I’m not getting any younger.

10YA is officially on hiatus so I can focus on other projects. Thank you for your readership, the hundreds of re-views, and the memories.

And keep going to the movies!
