It is a beloved local term that refers to the time after work when people wind down, socialize, and have a tropical drink. A recent trip to a favorite place in Provence, Saint Rémy de Provence, inspired me to look for something that captures the legendary lavender fields of the South of France. Canadian artist Elena Dri of is known for her hand painted watercolors and line drawings and this beautiful rendition of these fragrant fields is so perfect you can almost smell the lavender. I love these with the French quilted placemats I found at the Wednesday Market in Saint Rémy and the fun napkin rings in a little shop in town!
