Heres a tip for if you want to train on an empty stomach. It’s important to consume a source of protein 30mins - 1 hour after a successful workout to maximize muscle growth as your body is starved of protein after working out to start repairing your muscle. I personally use protein powder since its an easy source and way to get the protein that I need however its completely optional and not required, as long as you’re able to consume some sort of protein, you’ll be able to maximize muscle growth!

Remember that muscle soreness and scales aren’t the only way to track progress. Progressive overload is also a good method to track your progress in the gym! 💪🏋️‍♂️

Back at the gym today training my lower body, definitely the hardest day of the week however still quite important in building my foundation.
Despite walking out of the gym like I was a toddler taking his first baby steps, I still felt good about myself that I was able to push myself past my limits and get through the workout! 😄🏋️‍♂️
