🚀 RARE is hiring a Development Intern:
Roosevelt Alumni for Racial Equity (RARE) seeks a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our fundraising efforts, including grant research and database management. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising while contributing to a meaningful cause. Position is ideal for early-career professionals interested in nonprofit fundraising.

✨ What You’ll Do:
• Research grant and new funding opportunities.
• Assist the Development Director with routine and unplanned fundraising tasks.
• Help with ongoing maintenance of the donor database, Little Green Light.
• Attend monthly Development Committee meetings.

🎯 What We’re Looking For:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Interest in nonprofit development, fundraising, or social impact work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and willingness to learn new tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.

📍 Location: Fully remote / Flexible work hours / Approx. 4 hours per week
🕒 Duration: 6 months (100 hours)
💼 Compensation: $500 stipend awarded at completion of internship + Letter of recommendation

We raise awareness among students and those who impact their lives about educational inequities through partnerships, networks, and inclusion-centered practices.
