Thank you for your interest in this exhibit, NUMINOUS MYSTERIUM, shown at Art/Not Terminal in Seattle. The exhibit ended on 11/26/22. It was a very rewarding process and accomplishment to bring the exhibit about.

Thank you to the wonderful UWPG members who helped realize this exhibit, so dear to Deborah Conger Hughes (R.I.P.), they being Debra Stevens, Anita Bingaman, Bob Fukura, Karen Portzer, and Kari Berger. Additional helpers we thank include Muriel Arnold, Julia Tayon and Gary Kelfner. Those with work in the exhibit who were not in UWPG include Sarah Bartow and Knute E. Berger (R.I.P.), plus two unknown makers of 3-D pieces which added to the exhibit.

Thank you to Ray Redd of A/NT who shepherded our group through the process. And thank you to Art/Not Terminal Gallery for having the generous spirit of a true co-operative artspace, to allow artists to create exhibits of their own design, and for offering such wonderful support.

MELODRAMA HAD ALWAYS WORKED BEFORE. WOULD LIONEL EVER COME BACK?

"POCHOIR", (poe-shwar) is French for stencil and is the name of a series collaboratively produced by Deborah Conger Hughes and Kari Berger.

The noir figure moves about the city on some kind of mission or business of its own. Sinister or benign is yours to decide.

“I - I WANTED TO TELL MY WIFE SOMETHING”,
MR. GIDDY STAMMERED. JUST THEN A SERIES OF APPALLING SCREAMS FROM THE DINING ROOM TOLD HIM HE WAS
TOO LATE.

THEY HAD BEEN TRIPLETS. AFTER A LENGTHY SOJOURN GERTRUDE RETURNED, A DIFFERENT PERSON. NOW THERE WERE JUST TWO.
