Back to school time! 🎃✏️🎒 I can almost smell the newly sharpened pencils and fresh sneakers from here! You know what else I can sense coming? School paperwork, messy lunch bags, fall sports, and project knickknacks! Woohoo! Are you ready?? Do you have a drop zone? A place where everyone knows to look for things? One spot to keep it all so it doesn’t trickle throughout the house? Let’s set your family up for success this semester and create a system together that even your youngest student can keep up with. !

Asking locals throughout Scandinavia to explain what the word Hygge meant to them was in short, beautiful. The looks always got dreamy, usually a smile. I could see snapshots of childhood nostalgia in their eyes. My favorite explanation of the cozy word was, "If contrasts had a feeling". A hygglig home in winter is its own thing. Chilly mornings with a hot cup of coffee by the fire, a view of a dark starry night outside of your candlelit living room, a rowdy game night with friends as silent snow falls, a warm bath with a cold beer listening to Christmas songs.. just me? Whatever your delight this holiday season, l'd love to hear about it!

Letting go of things can sometimes be heavy before it can feel lighter, and that’s hard to prioritize. Let me help you bear the weight. Sure you can do it yourself, absolutely. We are all stronger than we think, when we actually make time for ourselves. The question is, how long have you been saying you will get to it?

A storage unit filled with home furnishings of a deceased loved one. A closet full of clothes that don’t fit anymore. Moving into a smaller apartment after a divorce. Going through an attic of memorabilia so you can get your house on the market. All those thoughtful gifts you were given that you just don’t know what to do with, or have room for anymore. That junk drawer, you know the one, you use it everyday and it causes stress everyday.

It is my greatest joy to be the person you call when you need help with these things. The holidays are a busy time of year, and for many, magical. I also know this time of year can be really hard. Let’s make the most of a rainy day and let me shine a little light in your home.
