In Italian the word Forza means strong. But conversationally, it is used in so many different ways. You deserve to be thriving, not just surviving.

“I know what I need to do I just need more commitment”
“I just need to be more disciplined”
“I had everything set up perfectly but I still threw it all aside and did X instead”
Sound familiar??
I would gather to day most of us have been here before. We know what needs to change; but we keep going back to the same patterns instead of making another choice.
Whether the behavior you fall back on is positive or it’s negative, it solves a problem. One that you may not have realized you were even trying to solve.
Here are some small tips to start working your way out of this feed back loop:
1) think back - what activated or triggered this behavior? Consider reflecting on your day or week and seeing if you can pin point a pattern
2) what problem does falling back on to this behavior solve for you? What does it give you? (Ex: smashing a bag of chips while you zone out to your favorite show because the crunch is satisfying and you can *turn off* your tired brain after a day full of demands from a stressful work environment)
3) what’s an alternative way you can think of to sooth, or solve the problem that aligns more with your goals?
It’s a lot more then just calories in and calories out 👀👀👀
