〰️Last year I was invited to Jan's class and had 1h with 24 kids.
We picked the topic 'bullying' and together shared a message.
〰️The picture shows my 'tiny' agenda and below you will find some more details.

Today Jan & I gave a message to the kids in his class:
We talked about , and . Jan picked the diary of Greg, kiwi, harry potter and some objects & I connected their differences and made up a story.
I asked the kids how they feel when they are being bullyed. Most of them said "mal"(bad) which showed me that they couldn't identify their feelings yet, (homework for parents) which also showed me they are aware that something bad is happening inside.
They said they liked it however this is a continuous fight! Parents, stand up and fight!
I wore these different pairs of socks, shoes & earings, and hung a message saying "difference is good"

Do you support your kids in reading multi-syllabic words 🙋🏾♂️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏻♂️?! Whether you’re a science teacher, a teacher, or simply a parent, you’re going to come across the need to help kids these content heavy words.
•
•
Follow these steps to help:
1️⃣ Identify where the vowels are in the word (we only have one vowel SOUND in every syllable)
2️⃣ Support kids to break the word at each syllable
3️⃣ Identify the syllable type - this will help determine the sound that the vowel will make
4️⃣ Decode each word syllable-by-syllable
5️⃣ Blend it all together

These sylla-boards are the perfect addition to my small group table!! Don’t have sylla-boards?! No problem, just use index cards! They work just the same 🤗

Do you plan all the week and spare time of your children or give them some free time to do whatever they want? Even some times to do nothing and get bored!
Actually getting bored is a powerful impulse to be and taking a lot work from you.
Because normally, we-moms think that time is passing so quickly and we feel we are not using it efficiently.
So this converts us into plan & control-maniac who need to fill up every moment left from school.
And this is an impossible (an unnecessary) job!
Apart from being impossible and unnecessary, it's killer job.
Scientists say,
is “a search for neural stimulation that isn’t satisfied,” “If we can’t find that, our mind will create it.” As demonstrated by the new study and plenty others before it, boredom can enable creativity and problem-solving by allowing the mind to wander and daydream.
So will you let your children get bored?
In the picture, Tolga is finding his own way in a very boring morning...

At the beginning of the semester, I visited Jan's class and saw the of the . 🏫
I immediately recognized his. It's maybe due to lack of practice or ability, or muscles, his drawings seemed to me like senseless scratch 😲
So I decided to give hime more opportunities to something, anything.
Then, I found STEP BY STEP by which uses 3 to create known figures!
I didn't think that Jan would play so much with it, because normally he gets bored when painting.
But I was wrong!
He loved it!
He takes it with him to the appointments, immediately starts to draw, then cleanes it and goes for another challenge.
I observed him, more than an hour, drawing without stopping.
I think he liked the feeling of successfully drawing something that looks like something :)
So, I decided to share this experience with you and encourage you to try! Maybe these are the steps for future Salvador Dalis.
