Just got word that Sook made a lot of people happy today! (Full disclosure: Supporting local businesses makes us happy EVERY day!)

After catching up with Morocco’s amazing craftspeople & artisans, one thing is clear: They are not getting the due, the credit & the financial rewards their work deserves - this year, Sook will work to change that.

It boggles the mind how many high-end and lower-end products we find in Western stores that are inferior derivatives of the work found in the medinas of Morocco.

One of our goals this year will be to help connect North America with original creations and creators in Morocco because no one benefits from crappy replicas except people sitting in board rooms.

Where else could we go for our first vacation after starting Sook than the place that inspired its name: Marrakesh.

Looking forward to a long day of exploring markets, interacting with amazing small shopkeepers and, best of all, picking up some dope local threads.
