My daughter could have played with this set-up at for hours, so I recreated a mini version of it at home.
It just needed a couple materials - a styrofoam cake form and some white felt.
Tip: I started with tacky glue, but quickly switched to hot glue and it worked 100x better.
The cuts aren't perfect, but both my kids were so excited to play with it when they saw it this morning.
We were invited to visit Kringle's Inventionasium this past weekend. The kids absolutely loved it! My kids are 4 & 6 which is the perfect age to really be immersed in the storyline and enjoy the activities in each room.

A few tips:
* The experience is located right by the stadiums so make sure to check gameday schedules before booking your tickets
* There are lots of lights and sounds throughout the experience that could be overwhelming to a sensory sensitive person
* Check out all the different ticket options for various add-on experiences
A fun and easy custom ornament! The hardest part was the fact I bought arched ornaments and couldn't just cut out a rectangle 😂.
A few additional tips:
* Size your canva page to the size of your ornament (this one is 3.5"x2.5"
* Print on cardstock
* if you want to make sure to completely fill the glass frame, cut it a little bigger so the edges are within the frame boarder rather than just the glass.
The photo background really does not matter, I took these photos as we were getting ready for bedtime and the BG remover easily picked up the subject VS background.
There are lots of frame ornaments available online. I got these at Amazon, but I've also seen some great options at Michael's.
My own little Cindy Lou Who. We saw this at over the weekend and she danced along through multiple demo cycles.
Of course, once we got home we had to watch The Grinch so she could see who she resembled.

Even the cats love the chunk! Last night as I was heading to bed, I looked over and saw these two snuggled up enjoying the quiet evening.
Out with the pumpkins and in with the snow! I'm ready to deck the halls, we'll see how long I can last before I start bringing some holiday decor down from the attic 😂

Some birthday sensory bin boxes that I've made the past year-ish for Emmett's classmate's birthdays.
I love the tools and toobs as key components in these gifts.
I add 2 pounds of "base", an ice cube tray, and some silicone cupcake liners. All of it is contained in a latched bin for easy clean-up/storage.

If they are playing nicely together, then 🤷🏼♀️ I'll allow it. The backyard is full of fun and imagination. This ride-on toy has brought so much play to our yard the past couple summers.
