You can help make the holidays brighter for those in need. PNTA is hosting a “Winter Essentials Drive” for Transitional Resources running from December through January.

Transitional Resources supports adults living with serious mental illness by providing them with behavioral health treatment and supportive housing. The needs for their services are critical during the winter, and TR is in need of warm winter accessories and hygiene items to give to their clients to use during this time of year and beyond.

These items will go directly to those living in supportive housing in our community 𝙉𝙀𝙒 𝙄𝙏𝙀𝙈𝙎 𝙊𝙉𝙇𝙔:
Hygiene products: toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bar soap, hand soap, shampoo, hand lotion, and other items.
Warm socks
Gloves
Other warm items

This year, one of our partners and friends, had their animals enjoy over 10,000 enrichment items at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. Enrichment items are used on a daily basis to help provide mental and physical stimulation and encourage natural animal behavior. It's vital to high-quality animal care and is one of the incredible ways their expert team makes sure all the animals in their care are thriving!
We always love coming together with The Zoo Society to make a difference, including their Zoobilee Auction to support their beloved animals.
This holiday season, we'd love to see some of our community give back in a huge way to make sure our enrichment stays alive in the Seattle-Tacoma area. The link is in their bio!
$50 supports hunting toys for our Wild Wonders animals
$100 helps keep our Sea Turtles busy as they graze with feeder balls
$250 supports a pool full of balls and mealworms for our Meerkats
$500 helps purchase a heavy duty Boomer Ball

Symphony Tacoma is pulling on our heartstrings with a violin solo from Blake Pouliot. Live music and the arts help communities thrive. Kuddos to the symphony and it’s amazing night of giving.

A Night for Hope with Plymouth Healing Communities
Around 140 people came together at Plymouth Church last Thursday evening, September 15, for a warm and wonderful gathering at Plymouth Healing Communities ’ 2022 Night of Hope with Fred Northup, Jr. mc'ing. Plymouth Healing Communities breaks the devastating cycle of hospitalization and homelessness for people living with mental illness.
For this event we created a "starry night" look on the ceiling of the reception hall for their fundraiser event. To achieve this we used Rogue R2 washes and ColorSource spots with star gobos and gobo-rotators so as the "night sky" could continually move and rotate.
From and PHC: "The evening was a great success, both in raising money to support PHC residents and PHC’s supportive housing mission and in many, many other impossible-to-measure ways."

Besides helping reach their fundraising goal, SeattleLives and PNTA were awarded VIRTUAL EVENT OF THE YEAR for Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington's Wish Night 2021 by National Association for Catering and Events - NACE!!

It has been an odyssy for our team and partner as we navigated fundraising during an extreamly challenging time. We are trilled to be recognized.
