We'd like to welcome Maya Nguyen to our team as our Program Administrator & Marketing Manager!

Maya joined First Tee – Greater Seattle at eight years old and continued to play and compete all the way through high school, serving as an Ace member and Junior Advisory Board officer. As an outstanding participant she was selected to attend the 2019 Life Skills & Leadership Academy, the 2020 PURE Insurance Championship, and the 2024 First Tee Alumni Summit. She graduated from Western Washington University in 2025 and began working in marketing.

Now Maya has joined our team and we are thrilled to have her! Please make sure to give her a warm welcome when you see her in the office, or on the course coaching a class or two!💚

Dear Coach Doug,

Your wisdom and expertise make you an amazing mentor to each participant you meet. You are patient, kind and focus on creating meaningful connections with golfers that will last a lifetime!

Coach Doug has spent many years involved in the golf industry. He is a former Caddie and has extensive golf knowledge. He works hard to get to know each player's swing and give them the best advice that he can.

Dear Coach Pat,

Your leadership and dedication to the program is so inspiring. The positivity you bring to each class is contagious. You have made an impact on many young golfers and we are so lucky to have you!

Coach Pat has been with the Greater Seattle chapter for over 10 years and coaches our Girls' Golf classes at Auburn Golf Course. She has also influenced both former and current First Tee participants such as Coach Anjali to begin their own coaching journeys!

Today, we celebrate Coach Katelin as she spends her last day with First Tee – Greater Seattle as our Registration & Enrollment Coordinator and steps into her next adventure!

If you’ve connected with our office over the last two years, chances are Katelin was the first person you spoke with. From handling registration requests and managing waitlists to supporting families every step of the way, she approached every interaction with care, patience, and kindness. Katelin helped streamline our registration process in ways that will continue to positively impact families long after her time with our team.

Coach Katelin, we’ll miss you! You’ll always have a place in the First Tee family, and we can’t wait to see all that the future has in store for you. 💚⛳️

Dear Coach Rob,

Because of you, a big idea turned into a group of 12 outstanding young people coming together to form Junior Ace. More than just coming together to learn some golf skills, this team has created something special with the aim to give back to their community. ⛳️💚

Dear Coach Charles,

As an outstanding participant and soon-to-be First Tee alum heading to Cal State Berkeley, we’re proud to celebrate all of Charles’ achievements and this exciting next chapter. Coach Kaley presented Charles with a lei to congratulate him on his journey ahead.

Current President of JAB - First Tee Seattle's Junior Advisory Board, Charles leads by example while continuing to learn from others. As a new Level 1 Coach and graduating Ace participant, he has brought his experience as a First Tee participant back to our program, making a meaningful impact on current players each week in class.

Your impact does not go unnoticed. We’ll miss your leadership, wisdom, and positive presence, but First Tee – Greater Seattle will always have a place for you. 💙💛

Dear Coach Lin 💚

Our junior volunteers and participants continue to connect in our community. Off the course, Ariella & Coach Lin ran into each other during a Filipino club event for Noah's Blessings, Coach Lin was volunteering at her high school and saw a familiar face in line. Once she spotted Ariella, she made sure to say hello! The smile on their faces say everything.

Community is so important and we're thankful to our community for the continued support we feel each day.

You can't help but feel joy seeing 400 smiling faces getting ready to tee off at the Chapter Championship! This weekend, players from around our Greater Seattle chapter put their skills to the test, getting up & down and around the course. We're so proud of our participants for believing in themselves - their confidence was showing on the course.
