Packing up a pot and sending it off to its new home makes us so happy! We get to lovingly wrap it up, say goodbye and wish it well in its new home, knowing it will be loved by someone new.

Teresa is bringing this crochet cactus to a new level with some needle-felting awesomeness. This cactus is based on the Peruvian Old Lady cactus (Espostoa melanostele) - named for the hair-like white covering. These come from Peru and Ecuador, but save the airfare and head to our Etsy shop to get one of your own.

We are working on a second round of these fun and elegant pots. We discovered some new yarn combinations and are loving the textures - way softer than a real cactus!

We are always on the lookout for ways to lower our footprint. Teresa scored some beautiful spools of tatting thread at Goodwill to use for cactus details.

We're working on some mini-minis for some of the cutest crochet cacti we've ever made. These little pots are only an inch wide.
