Fifteen amazing volunteers showed up to doorbell today, and together we reached over 1,000 doors across four neighborhoods.

Didn't manage to get pics with everyone, but I'm beyond grateful.

I'm so honored to be endorsed by King County Councilmember Claudia Balducci. In addition to serving on the Council since 2015, she is the former Bellevue Mayor, and an acclaimed housing and transportation leader.

She has helped build safe, healthy communities, and championed evidence-based solutions to addressing crime and homelessness. I'm thrilled to have Councilmember Balducci's support and look forward to the opportunity to work alongside her on King County Council.

A close family member of mine was a victim of gun violence, and I lost a childhood friend in the 2017 Las Vegas shooting.

My experiences aren't unique. Gun violence is affecting way too many lives, especially in black and brown communities. I'm committed to working with those communities and leaders like Liz Berry to prioritize evidence-based policies to solve this.

We filmed a 30sec ad with 20 amazing volunteers, one of whom captured some behind-the-scenes moments. I love that my team makes me laugh and at least pretends to laugh at my jokes 🤷‍♀️

Seattle Student Union is an absolutely incredible group of young people advocating for issues like abortion rights, climate justice, mental health, racial justice, and gun control--all near and dear to my heart.

This endorsement is a big honor and I'm excited to continue advocating for and with young people.
