UCCS clinicians Kristi Kanehen, MFT Intern and Sofi Paco, MFT Intern will be facilitating another IN PERSON premarital class coming up on Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30 for four weeks in August (8/6, 8/14, 8/21, 8/28).

in Ballard will be our host venue and the class is open to any couple interested in participating.

The class is $160 per couple and space is limited to 9 couples, so register soon before spots fill up!

New Class Offering! Join men (all those who identify as male) of all ages who wish to go deeper in navigating, processing, learning to identify and more fully embody emotions. Based upon the book “Why Emotions Matter: Recognize Your Body Signals. Grow in Emotional Intelligence. Discover an Embodied Spirituality.” By Tristen K Collins, LPC + Jonathan D Collins, this four week class will be informative, interactive and communal.

This past year, UC set out to make mental health resources as accessible as possible. We committed to providing as many free offerings as we could and even offered therapy for as low as $10/session!

This has all been made possible by those who believe in the need for more intersectional, faith-integrative, intentional mental health care. We are so grateful for the support that has carried us through our inaugural. It truly has taken a village.

This year especially-with the ongoing pandemic, polarizing social climate, and shortening winter days- it’s particularly important to care well for our mental well-being.
