I have been leaking these to my instagram page (thecircletimetable) and it's time to showcase them here on my studio's facebook π₯°! I can't stop painting circular backgrounds so I am going with it until I run out of creative steam! Here's to the end of summer π»πΊπΌπβοΈπ

Mountains π―.
Living in the PNW is an honor that we should never take for granted.

I finally grabbed the bull by the horns and made a line drawing painting. Sometimes letting a new endeavor marinade in your mind for a few months is a really good idea.

It *works*!! A clock my four-year-old and I put together keeps time, I am so pleased π ! This is one of the projects my thirteen-year-old told me I had to finish before taking on new projects...one more done, eleventy-seven still to go! π¨π§β°οΈπͺπͺπ₯°π¨π

This little number came to me with a gimpy leg π€. It fit back together like a dream and we were off and running with a new coat of paint (my absolute favorite pink) and gave her drawers some rose gold bling. Wax finish top coat and she is back to full health, studio-bound, and loving the artistic lifestyle β¨οΈ π π

She cute!! One coat of chalk paint, sealed with wax and she is good to go back into our living room as a brave "new" side table. This table and I have a long history: I was responsible for painting her pink for a friend at one point and, while she was my absolute favorite shade of blush, it was time to breathe new life into her. I am loving the way she turned out! I was lucky to end up with this cutie after years of knowing her π.
Video tour of Tinkerbelle's house which is approximately 1:24 scale but it was impromptu and done by eyeballing so who actually knows ππ€·ββοΈ. The details inside the house are numerous and much more perceptible in person so this "tour" is a very rough sketch, so to speak. My son loves it and played with it throughout its creation so I know it will be a fun, interactive art piece π₯°. Yay, miniatures!!

On my schedule last weekend were three more refinishing jobs waiting for final touches in the workshop but when the going gets tough, make art (advice from Neil Gaiman). I was in need of some real "get paint up to your elbows and glue on your fingertips" art. I spent the day with one of my favorite people who is having her sixth birthday this week. We made fairy houses out of cardboard and other items from my crafting stash. It was wildly successful and I played around with multiple layers, textures, and washes which I will need to get better at before tackling some more structured miniature projects waiting in the wings. And now Tinkerbelle has a new house (video tour to come seperatly because, apparently, I cant select pictures and video footage at the same time on a business page) π΄π§π»ββοΈππΏπ

Another piece done! I have been planning this one for some years now- it was a dining table converted into a coffee table by switching some legs around on some tables π. Is it a smidge too big for our living room? Yes. Is it perfect for large art projects, games, and building an extensive Lego creation? Oohhh my, yes!! Included is a picture of the table's ugly stage. The good thing about furniture rehab is one layer of paint can change the whole look π₯°π.

Two more pieces sealed and ready for a new lease on life! I wish I had before pictures of these but I have been in "get'erdone" mode, not "document this, otherwise no one will believe these pieces came to me from near-death experiences." Putting it mildly, they were falling apart. The magenta table is destined for an admin support position in my art studio and the high chair is all gussied up and ready for a new small human to boost up to a farmhouse-style dinner table. I love them both dearly, rickety bits and all (now super reinforced with wood glue). ππ
