Rev. Grace Shim is coming to speak to us at The Table this Sunday on April 26th!
Grace serves as the Executive Minister of Serve Globally, the global mission arm of our denomination.
She’s an ordained pastor and a licensed clinical counselor, and she has spent nearly two decades serving in Kyrgyzstan and Thailand alongside her family, working in mental health and medical care. Before stepping into her current role, she led Cornerstone Counseling in Chiang Mai.
We love when how faith, culture, and healing all intersect. Grace’s life has been shaped by crossing cultures, listening deeply and living communally with others.
Come listen, and bring a friend!

The Table just celebrated its third anniversary. We officially launched on November 6, 2022, and it has been a journey of trusting God’s faithfulness through every high and low of planting a church.
As we look back on these past three years, our hearts are full of gratitude. We are thankful for everyone who has been part of The Table in each season and for all who have supported this mission in so many ways. Thank you to those who have given generously, and to those who have given without name or recognition.
We are also deeply grateful for those who have found a spiritual home here. It has been such a joy to see how God has woven our stories together in beautiful and unexpected ways. The future is bright as we step into year four, continuing to gather, grow, and live out God’s love together.

🎉 The Table Turns 3!
It is hard to believe it has already been three years of gathering, growing, and discovering God’s love together. Join us this Sunday as we celebrate our 3rd Anniversary. Come as you are, bring a friend who is curious or looking for community, and help us mark this milestone with joy, gratitude, and good food.
🍲 (Link in Bio) As with any great celebration, we are bringing back The Congee Table. If you are able, sign up to contribute by making your signature congee, bringing toppings, or picking up condiments. Every bit helps make the day special.
✨ As we celebrate, we give thanks for all who have supported us, prayed for us, and walked beside us through these three years. Your love and presence have shaped this community in beautiful ways.

We are all shaped by our earliest relationships. This 3-hour seminar explores how early dynamics influence how we connect today, using Family Systems and Attachment theories. Couples will reflect on what first brought them together. Singles will gain tools and language for current and future relationships. If you’re in a relationship but only one of you can attend, we still encourage you to come.
Meet our facilitators:

He served as professor and Director of Clinical Training at George Fox University and now works in private practice. He’s passionate about psychoanalysis, group therapy, multiculturalism, and integrating faith and mental health. He also enjoys Pokémon GO, Old Fashioneds, and Louise Penny’s Chief Inspector Gamache mysteries.

This is a coming together of voices, hearts ❤️, and hands 🤲 from both The Table and Emmanuel as we host and shape the service together. We’ll hold space to remember the suffering of Jesus, the weight of injustice ⚖️, and the liberating hope that still rises 🌅.

📣 To close out our Women’s History Month series, we welcome Pastor Eunice Do, one of our own pastors here at The Table Seattle.
Born in Seattle and raised in Hong Kong, Eunice carries a third-culture lens and blends her in-between backgrounds with her pastoral calling. Before ministry, she spent two decades in corporate design, but in the last couple of years, she’s been called to walk with those deconstructing and rebuilding faith, especially in Pan-Asian American spaces.
Eunice is passionate about creating spaces of belonging, healing from generational and religious trauma, and encourage us to see the image of God in each person. She hopes here at the Table, we can hold grief, hope, and cultural complexity together.
Come hear her speak on what it means to live in the liminal space between cultures, generations, and ways of being church, and still see God’s presence.
