Come celebrate the release of .sz new single Full Moon Rising. RiggsZ works so hard to support, contribute and lift up others in the Seattle music scene while still finding time to write and produce his own stuff. I think we are witnessing a renaissance. The dawn of a new RiggsZ.

Here are some fun facts about the show!

1) I will be bringing the thump as part of RiggsZ and Angle 21 featuring on drums and on saxophone. The crew has been working hard and we are beyond excited to share it with ya’ll.

2) I will also be playing bass for and her incredible band. This is my third time sitting in with Sara and Co. and I can confirm it is definitely a good time.

3) will be filling out the evenings line up, having already seen them live I can confidently say this show is going to be something we tell our children about. Don’t miss the opportunity to say “I saw Sara Camille and No Monaco open for RiggsZ at The Sunset in 2025!”

4) Full confession, I have an ulterior motive for promoting the release of Full Moon Rising, I’ve got some skin in the game. I was lucky enough to be invited to contribute bass and melodica for the track. It’s a great song and RiggsZ has created something truly special. I am humbled to be part of it. Everyone should give it a listen when it drops like 💣

This will the second FM L!VE performance at the Sunset Tavern and I couldn’t be more excited to be on that stage again. The last performance was a little over 2 years ago opening for the incredible Bob Log III (3rd pic). The current project was still in its infancy, the music has changed and morphed and coalesced in ways I could not have imagined. Hope to see you all there!

My music has always been about connecting with others. Sharing in the joys and sorrow of the life we live everyday. Hoping for change but embracing the precious beauty of right now. Right now I am grateful for a community that looks out for each other and offers a hand when one of us has fallen. All proceeds from this event will go directly to supporting our friend and Seattle treasure, Amy Lee as she recovers from surgery.

Because this performance is so special I wanted to do something unique. I have reached out to friends from across the Starfields and we have prepared three songs. Rarely performed live, and never with a full band. This can’t be streamed, downloaded, pirated or burned. I am FM Stereochild and we are The Cult of The Black Sun.

Fun Fact: The music in this post comes from the Nirvana MTV Unplugged which was a very influential album for me. My guitar set up is inspired by Kurt’s guitar from this performance. So it’s kinda wild sometimes to be on this planet, in this city and play at these venues. Feeling grateful.

I cannot express how much joy this event brings to my life. I have been exposed to so many amazing musicians who appreciate the beauty and power of playing music with a wooden box and some strings. Its primal. Feral music that resonates with our hearts and souls. Connecting us to universe.

As we gear up for 2025 I’m trying to remain positive. I met so many people and had so many amazing experiences that give me hope for the future. I’m taking this moment to celebrate the past and people who made last year one of the best.

1) 2024 kicked off with Vol. III of the Acoustic Punk Explosion. The Soggy Possums and I started this event to showcase high energy acoustic music and has featured some of Seattle’s most ruckus acoustic guitars, banjos, accordions, etc. Vol. 3 saw the APE debut of .phantom.pines and (Tacoma)

2) This even was quickly followed by the Crossover Episode 2. Celebrating the open mic scene artists were backed by .lfb

3) I got to share the stage with my good friend , TWICE! Once for an epic show at Bad Bar and once when she so generously shared her open mic slot with me. Some folks are just lucky I guess!

4) I performed festival as part of their streaming showcase known as The Quilt Sessions. Wish I had pictures, my memories and this sweet graphic are all that remains.

5) Visiting a place I used to call home I was afforded the opportunity to play a show with my longest running musical collaborator and oldest friends of fame.

6) Performing with and co. Was some of the most fun I’d ever had on stage. Hoping for more of this in 2025 🙌

7) Tied with playing bass for . I joined them for three shows last year and learned a lot about what it means to collaborate. “More bass playing in 2025” is my current mantra.

8) I started last year with APE Vol.3 and am kicking off 2025 with for the Acoustic Punk Explosion Vol.4 . This time we’re bringing and both coming up from PDX!
