Due to the policy of CDC, FFR project team has not been able to help bring a dog over for adoption this year. Today, Miso, the first cat brought over, arrived in beautiful Seattle after a 13-hour flight ✈️. Thanks to the care of the flight volunteers along the way. Although we only spent a few hours together, we were still reluctant to part. The lucky baby Miso finally has a permanent home of her own. Friends interested in cat adoption contact us; also urgently needed flight volunteers from Shanghai back to Seattle 🙏

Bethany is finally home. Such a small cute body but you never know how much she endured before the rescue. Please look through all the pictures of her before the rescue that follow behind. My heart still aches when seeing the pictures when she was first rescued. She probably had nothing to eat for many many days, as she looked so skinny. She was only 1.2kg. So matted was she that we had to shave all her fur off. Then we found a loving home to foster her. Gradually with better food and care she began to put on weight. Then she got spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and defleaed.
The way of rescue is a road along which you can only go farther and farther. It is money and energy consuming. Also you need to have a strong heart to face very tragic situation. But eventually we harvest the flowering of a life, which rewards all that we have paid in the rescue. We are very much grateful to Mr. G*i Yiyao, Bethany’s flight volunteer brother, for offering to bring her home.
