Thousands of hard-working men and women in northeast Arkansas are currently uninsured. These individuals do not qualify for Medicaid, but have jobs and either cannot afford insurance, do not receive it through their employer or are self-employed. serves a ten county region, including Clay, Craighead, Greene, eastern Jackson, Lawrence, western Mississippi, Poinsett, Randolph and Sharp. starts October 1, 2013 and coverage officially begins January 1, 2014.

Assisters from Enroll the Ridge attended a conference on December 9 to share ideas and experiences with assisters from across the state. As of October 31, over 212,000 Arkansans have enrolled in affordable health insurance!

There are only two months remaining in the open enrollment period for Affordable Health Insurance!! Please don’t wait any longer to get health insurance for you and your family! Many enrollment events are scheduled, so please come out and talk with an Enroll the Ridge In-Person Assister.

Thank you to everyone who came to the luncheon! We had a great turnout.
St. Bernards Healthcare sponsored a luncheon for Enroll the Ridge! on August 7 at Parker Park Community Center in Jonesboro. The keynote speaker was Sandra Cook, who represented the Assistant Insurance Commissioner for the Arkansas Insurance Department.
