ASU-Beebe Computerized Machining Technology

The Computerized Machining Technology Program is a part of the Career Education Division of ASUB Students can earn a technical certificate after one year.

Computerized Machining Technology is designed to help the student build valuable skills for one of today’s most appealing and dependable trades. The program is designed to teach the combination of CAD, CAD/CAM, and machining. Training focuses on working with manual and computer numerical control (CNC) machines making tools, dies, molds, and other objects using high-tech milling and lathe equipment

Paid training includes Workforce Prep Levels I & II, OSHA 10 Certification, a 16-week CNC course, and employer referral upon completion.

📍Classes are held on the Searcy campus

📅 Key dates:
Pre-assessment begins Aug. 4
Adult Ed classes start Aug. 11
CNC classes kick off Aug. 21 (Thursdays, 6–9 p.m.)

✅ Must be 18 or older to apply
✅ Take a TABE pre- and post-assessment
✅ Must have reliable transportation

This past week our machining students competed at the 2025 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference. It was a great time and great experience for all.

The machining program did great again this year!!! Everyone of our students medaled!!! Gold Automated Manufacturing College, Silver CNC 3 Axis Programming College, Bronze CNC 3 Axis Programming College, Bronze Automated Manufacturing High School. On to Atlanta and SkillsUSA Nationals.
