Harding University is extending Bison Commercial Drive to support expanding commercial development in eastern Searcy, including the new ALDI site and adjacent future commercial parcels.
The project consists of a 500-foot westward extension of the existing roadway, beginning at its current termination behind Casey’s General Store. Improvements will include full roadway construction, curb and gutter, underground storm drainage, and stormwater detention facilities to serve the commercial subdivision.

Davidson Engineering has been retained by ARcare to design a new satellite parking lot to support ARcare’s Bentonville Clinic. The project site is a 2.26-acre vacant parcel located within the Mid Cities Crossing Subdivision. The development will include 85 asphalt parking spaces, associated internal circulation, underground storm drainage improvements, and required landscaping.

A residential development is in the works off of Highway 64 near Conway. Davidson Engineering facilitated the design, grading, drainage, and surveying for the first phase of the residential development.

First Methodist Church in Searcy is currently underway on construction of the new Crain Family Life Center, named in honor of Larry and Janett Crain.

Davidson Engineering completed the design drawings for the redesign of sidewalks, drainage, and the parking lot to best facilitate the needs of the church and accommodate the new worship center.

The City of Searcy will be building new basketball courts at Yancey Park. Davidson Engineering recently completed the design drawings for this work and is advertising for construction bids, which will be opened in September.

Davidson Engineering played a crucial role in updating Sawmill Road in Searcy. Sawmill is a vital road in the City of Searcy’s infrastructure and is used by commuters, businesses, and emergency services. Plans were made to widen the road, reduce the slope, add sidewalks, and update the drainage system. Once completed, the road will better travel times and safety.

Davidson Engineering recently completed the civil engineering and site planning for the new Academy Sports + Outdoors projects in Searcy and Russellville, Arkansas. The 60,000 square foot retail projects each included stormwater detention, utility extensions, and detailed landscaping.

The City of Sherwood recently completed construction of a new post-tensioned concrete basketball court facility and improved parking at historic Lake Cherrywood Park.

The City of Searcy recently opened the Janett and Larry Crain Memorial Library. The project included renovation of a 35,000-square-foot former health club and improvements to the site which included an amphitheater and parking improvements.

Davidson Engineering, in partnership with Crafton Tull and Cunningham Recreation, completed site design for a $3.3 Million upgrade to Berryhill Park in Searcy, Arkansas. The project includes an inclusive playground and splashpad, upgraded parking, and improved walking and bicycle trails.
